The blotter details traffic stops, welfare checks, animal calls, and civil matters across the county, offering a snapshot of recent law enforcement activity affecting Olathe and nearby communities. 
• Drought has decimated Colorado's biggest reservoir, and the livelihoods of those who depend on it (kunc.org) — Severe drought has drained Blue Mesa Reservoir, threatening the water that feeds Olathe sweet corn fields and other Uncompahgre Valley crops.
