• Colorado outdoor recreation office wraps up $3.6 million in federal grants to 50 projects (coloradosun.com) — Ouray’s famed Ice Park is one of 50 projects boosted by Colorado’s outdoor recreation grants, using state support to expand climbing terrain and secure long-term water rights. The four-year, $3.6 million program backed efforts in 27 counties, but Ouray’s grant also helped attract about $1 million more from private donors to strengthen the park’s future.
