• HEALTHY ARCHULETA: Health Fair & Expo Coming in October – Pagosa Daily Post News Events & Video for Pagosa Springs Colorado (pagosadailypost.com) — Pagosa Springs residents can mark their calendars for the 4th Annual Archuleta Health Fair and Expo, coming to Pagosa Springs High School on Saturday, October 24, from 7 a.m. to noon. The event will feature low-cost wellness labs, local healthcare providers, screenings, and a farm-to-table breakfast, plus chances to learn about preventive care, volunteer roles, and sponsorship opportunities. 
• PAWSD makes clarifications to drought plan, discusses handling violations (pagosasun.com) — New watering rules from the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District now clearly apply to both potable and lake water in uptown Pagosa Springs, with irrigation only allowed between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. Board members are debating when to start issuing fines for violations, but for now are relying on calls and neighbor pressure while they prepare a detailed enforcement plan for possible future drought stages.
• Town workforce housing project moving ahead (pagosasun.com subscription) — Pagosa Springs is moving ahead with a scaled-down workforce housing plan, converting 32 Village Pointe condos into 64 rental units aimed at middle-income workers. Town officials say the waterfront units are mostly move-in ready and hope to begin leasing soon after the anticipated March 2027 closing, with rents set to cover purchase and renovation costs.
