ā¢ American Legion preparing lawsuit over condemned Palisade Veterans Memorial building (gjsentinel.com) ā Palisadeās Veterans Memorial Community Center remains closed after being condemned, and American Legion Post 50 is preparing a July lawsuit arguing the town failed to maintain the 80-year-old building. Town leaders say theyāve met obligations but face multimillion-dollar repair or demolition costs while juggling other big projects, leaving the future of the communityās only veterans memorial space uncertain.
