• Robert Harold McCormick May 9, 1947 ~ May 6, 2026 (heartoftherockiesradio.com) — Salida is mourning longtime resident Robert Harold McCormick, a 1965 Salida High graduate, Army veteran, and 33-year employee of the Mt. Shavano fish hatchery. Deeply involved in the local Masonic lodge, he died May 6 at age 78 and is survived by two brothers and a nephew. Private services have been held, and condolences can be shared online.
