Council members clashed over whether the benefits justify the price, especially with changes to parking, drop-off access, and reliance on the Meadows lot, ultimately directing staff to try to scale the project back by June 30.

The move eases tax burdens on the nonprofit, supports future upgrades, and helps ensure the Pro Rodeo Seriesārunning Friday and Saturday nights June 19 through Aug. 29āremains a central piece of Steamboatās Western heritage. ā¢ Young entrepreneurs present their business ideas in 4-H Program (steamboatradio.com) ā Routt County 4-H youth entrepreneurs will be selling their handmade products at the Steamboat Springs Farmers Market several times this summer, after pitching their business ideas to a local panel. Kids ages eight to 18 are learning marketing, branding, and teamwork while launching ventures from fishing lures to cookies and upcycled hockey-stick gadgets, backed by a Rotary Club grant for seed money.
