ā¢ LiftUp of Routt County holds groundbreaking ceremony for facility expansion (steamboatpilot.com) ā LiftUp of Routt County has broken ground on a major expansion of its Steamboat Springs facility, nearly doubling space for the food bank, thrift store, donations, and offices. While construction is underway, the food bank is operating from 1880 Loggers Lane, Unit D, and the thrift store and donation center remain open at 2125 Curve Court, as fundraising for the $5.5 million campaign continues.

ā¢ New Water Ramp Training Facility to be built at Steamboat Resort (steamboatradio.com) ā Steamboat Springs City Council has approved a new water ramp and trampoline training facility at the base of the Park Smalley Freestyle Complex, replacing the long-used Bald Eagle Lake ramps after this summer. Construction is expected to start later this summer, preserving Coloradoās only water ramp site and keeping elite-level freestyle training opportunities in town for local youth and visiting athletes.
