• First responders save woman and dog trapped in Fountain Creek culvert (fox21news.com) — Emergency crews from Stratmoor Hills Fire, El Paso County Sheriff's Office, and Security Fire rescued a woman and her dog trapped in a flooded Fountain Creek culvert near Stratmoor Valley Park. Responders cut through fencing and a grate in fast-moving water, used ladders and ropes, and kept the woman updated about her dog's safety before pulling both out unharmed.
