📰 News we're reading
• Land surveying: Often overlooked, but necessary (thefencepost.com) — A Wellington-based surveyor explains why getting a proper land survey can save property buyers and local landowners from costly boundary disputes and hidden easements. He walks through how modern digital tools, drones, and GPS have transformed the work, while stressing that surveys are still essential for real estate deals, estate planning, and farm or ranch retirement strategies. It's practical guidance for anyone in Wellington considering buying, selling, or dividing land.
