• VIDEO: Trucker catches violent road rage on dash camera, police say 'don't do that' (wchstv.com) — Two drivers got into a dangerous road-rage fight on I-70 in Wheat Ridge, stopping in traffic, shattering a rear windshield, and brandishing a tire iron before driving off. Wheat Ridge Police used dashcam video from a nearby trucker to investigate and issued both drivers summonses for disorderly conduct, reminding locals not to stop and confront others on the highway. 
• Man rescued from 15-foot-trench in Wheat Ridge after possibly being stuck for nearly 24 hours (denverpost.com) — Emergency crews in Wheat Ridge rescued a man from a 15-foot construction trench Saturday night after he may have been trapped for nearly 24 hours in mud and water. A passerby heard his calls for help near North Crossing Drive and Clear Creek Drive, flagged down an RTD driver, and firefighters used a rope system to pull him out with non-life-threatening injuries.
