Generations of families return as coaches and supporters, keeping traditions like themed meets, doughnut Fridays, and spirited “Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!” chants alive while inviting new swimmers to join.
• Wheat Ridge PD Teams Up with U.S. Marshalls, Jeffco Agencies to Arrest Dozens of Violent Offenders (ngazette.com) — Wheat Ridge residents should know local officers just helped arrest dozens of violent fugitives through a 10-day Jefferson County operation called Gateway Sweep. Working with nearby cities and U.S. Marshals, Wheat Ridge police cleared dozens of felony and misdemeanor warrants, gaining experience and partnerships they say will strengthen future major-incident responses and crime-prevention work in the community.
