• El Paso County rejects multi-family zoning request near Monument Academy (gazette.com) — County commissioners have rejected a higher-density housing proposal just west of Woodmoor, keeping the land near Monument Academy’s East Campus zoned for low-density homes. The 3–2 vote followed strong neighborhood opposition from residents who favor wide-open spaces, while two commissioners argued the project fit the county’s master plan and local infrastructure.
