2 Found Dead In CT Home; 911 Caller Says She's 'Sorry': Reports
Police found two people dead at a home Wednesday morning and an investigation is underway to determine what happened.

VOLUNTOWN, CT — Two people were found dead in a Voluntown home Wednesday morning, according to NBC CT.
State police responded to Hell Hollow Road after receiving a 911 call at 11:30 a.m. The woman calling reported an emergency at the address and said she was sorry before the call ended, NBC CT reported.
Police arrived at the home and found an unresponsive man with visible injuries at the end of the driveway. The man was declared dead at the scene of the incident, WTNH News-8 reported.

Police tried to make contact with the woman believed to be in the home, then sent a drone inside. Police could see an unresponsive woman in the stairwell who was also pronounced dead, according to WTNH News-8.

The identities of the two people have not been released.
A shelter-in-place order was issued for the one-mile radius surrounding the address, state police said. It has since been lifted.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
