12,000 CT Residents Still Without Power: Town-By-Town Power Outages

A severe storm rolled through Connecticut on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, resulting in mass power outages.

CONNECTICUT — As of 9 p.m. Thursday, over 12,000 Connecticut residents are still without power.

Eversource is reporting over 12,245 power outages across the state, while United Illuminating Co. is reporting just one outage remaining, in Milford.

A severe storm rolled through the state late Wednesday and early Thursday morning.

"Crews are working double shifts and we stagger those shifts so that we’re working around the clock," Eversource officials said on X, formerly known as Twitter. "They’ll keep at this until every last customer is restored."
