On-Air TV Personality Will Leave CT Station: Report
A WTNH News-8 correspondent is reportedly leaving after a second stint with the station.
CONNECTICUT — Jodi Latina, WTNH News-8's chief political correspondent, will leave the station, according to The Laurel Connecticut. Latina began a second stint with the station in January 2020.
Latina's last day will be Feb. 10. She is taking a job at Central Connecticut State University, The Laurel reported late Monday.

After Latina's first stint at the station, she left for a decade, during which time she was press secretary for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon and chief of staff to New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, according to her bio at WTNH News-8.
Latina got her start in broadcasting at WFSB, interning with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski at the New Haven Bureau and then becoming a production assistant on “the night beat” with Denise D’Ascenzo and Al Terzi in Hartford.

Latina worked on “Good Morning Connecticut” at WTNH from 1999-2009.
In her recent time with the station, she covered state legislative issues and elections.
Latina graduated from Newington High School in 1990 and from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1994, according to her LinkedIn profile.
