CONNECTICUT — The Bohdan Kolinsky Memorial Sports Media Scholarship, awarded annually by the Connecticut Sports Media Alliance, honors the memory of Bohdan Kolinsky, longtime scholastic sports editor of the Hartford Courant who died unexpectedly in 2003 at age 49.

The scholarship provides a one-time award of $3,000 to a high school senior from Connecticut who is admitted to an accredited four-year college for study leading to a career in sports media or journalism.

To obtain an application, click on this 2023 scholarship link. Applications are being taken through a Google form. Applicants must have a Gmail account to upload the document files, high school transcript and letter of recommendation required for scholarship consideration.
