Driver Follows People Home, Pepper Sprays Them After Road Rage Incident In Fremont: Police

FREMONT, CA — A driver was arrested following a road rage incident in Fremont where they followed the victims home and pepper-sprayed them, police said.

It's unclear what led up to the road rage. Police say the driver and victims were on Decoto Road on Thursday, Sept. 17, when they got into a dispute.

Eventually, the victims left for their apartment on San Pedro Drive, but the driver followed, according to the Fremont Police Department.

There, the driver and the victims got into another argument that ended when the former pepper-sprayed the latter, police said.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of unlawful discharge of pepper spray, police said. Police did not release the driver's identity following the arrest.

Authorities did not say whether the victims suffered any injuries from being pepper-sprayed.
