CT Coronavirus Updates: 53,000 Confirmed Cases Now Reported
Connecticut has now reported more than 53,000 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began in March.
CONNECTICUT — Connecticut reported another 127 positive coronavirus cases Tuesday out of more than 19,000 test results for a positive test rate below 1 percent. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began now exceeds 53,000.
One coronavirus-related death was reported, which brought the total up to 4,466. Hospitalizations rose by four patients up to a net total of 56, which is still near the state's lowest figures since the pandemic began.
Connecticut's positive rate over the past 24 hours was just 0.66 percent which is among the nation's lowest.
