CT Pushes To Reschedule Canceled Coronavirus Vaccine Appointments

The majority of coronavirus vaccine appointments were canceled Monday. The state has to make up for lost time.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut officials are strongly urging coronavirus vaccine administration sites to reschedule appointments canceled due to Monday’s storm by the end of the week.

“We just need people to be all hands on deck, do whatever it takes to get these vaccines caught up by the end of the week,” said state Chief Operating Officer Josh Geballe. “It’s a unique moment in time right now.”

The vast majority of providers canceled appointments Monday as the state got hit with a foot or more of snow.
