CT Surpasses 400,000 Coronavirus Tests
Connecticut is 10th in the nation for the most coronavirus tests per capita.
CONNECTICUT — Connecticut surpassed a milestone Tuesday, as more than 400,000 coronavirus tests have been administered so far. Another 117 coronavirus cases out of 6,396 test results were reported Tuesday, which is less than a 2 percent positive rate. A total of 401,986 coronavirus tests and counting have been conducted.
Connecticut is 10th in the country for most tests performed per capita out of the 50 states and Washington, D.C, according to John Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center. Overall, around 11,000 tests have been administered per 100,000 people in Connecticut as of the morning of June 23.
Another 14 deaths were reported Tuesday as the death toll rose to 4,277. Net hospitalizations dropped by two patients down to 138.
