Final High School Football Poll Of 2021 Yields Clear Cut Top Team
A panel of 22 sports media members from Connecticut selected their top teams following last weekend's finals, and all but one chose Darien.

CONNECTICUT — When the smoke cleared Saturday and four football state champions had been decided, members of the Connecticut sports media had one more assignment: to pick the top teams in the state. With but one exception, Darien topped their lists.
Following a convincing 42-7 victory over Fairfield Prep in the Class LL title game in Trumbull, the Blue Wave received the top nod from 21 of 22 voters. One person tabbed Class M champion Killingly as the No. 1 team.
Here are the top 10, as well as all other programs receiving support.
