Saturday looks good with sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid 50s, but Sunday looks cloudy and rain showers are forecast for the afternoon hours. COVID-19 update for CT

The infection rate increased to 3.95 percent, but the number of hospitalizations decreased by 10 to 88, state officials said. An additional 32 people died this past week due to COVID-19, state officials said.

The Connecticut Department of Public Health released its weekly COVID-19 Alert Map, which indicates that 20 municipalities are currently in the red zone alert level, the highest of the state’s four alert levels. They include:
