Former CT TV News Anchor Joins Communications Team At Yale University
Dan Corcoran left NBC Connecticut earlier this year after seven years.

CONNECTICUT — We now know where former news anchor Dan Corcoran landed after he left NBC Connecticut earlier this year.
Corcoran, who had been with the station since 2015, joined Yale University last month as the communications officer for social media, The Laurel reported.
In his new role, Corcoran is managing content on the university's primary social media accounts, meaning he is creating, producing, curating and publishing posts, according to his LinkedIn profile.

As such, he will be working closely with members of the university's Office of Public Affairs & Communications to ensure that post stay on point, including maintaining Yale's "commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion."
The job suits him, as he wore several hats while at NBC Connecticut, including digital anchor and co-producer.

Corcoran has also held television news reporter positions at stations in Florida, Oregon and New Hampshire during his career.
Additionally, Corcoran's background also includes past university work; he served as an adjunct professor of journalism at Quinnipiac University in 2021, and among his responsibilities at Yale will be hiring a "team of students to provide custom imagery and information for social posts."
