Good And Bad News In CT's Super Bowl Weekend Weather Forecast
If you are traveling on Super Bowl Sunday, here is what you can expect from the weather.

There's good and bad news in Connecticut's weekend weather forecast. The bad news is it will be freezing tonight, lows in the single digits, and it will be pretty cold Friday with temps in the low 20s.
As for the good news, the weekend looks like a heat wave of sorts as we climb above freezing Saturday and Sunday are expected to exceed 40 degrees. After the past few days, the 40s will feel like spring weather. And the forecast for Monday calls for sunny skies and temps into the 50s! Maybe spring is right around the corner after all.
"Arctic high pressure settles over the region tonight, with the winds gradually diminishing after midnight. Another very cold night is in store, with lows ranging from around zero across inland locations, to mainly middle and upper single digits closer to the coast. Wind chills will range mainly from 0 to 10 below into early Friday morning," the National Weather Service says in an evening update.

"With high pressure over the region on Friday it will remain dry. Clouds will increase during the morning, especially across southern sections. With lighter winds it will not feel as harsh,
as temperatures climb mainly into the lower and middle 20s during the afternoon.
"Skies will clear during Friday night with a moderation in temperatures into the weekend. Lows Friday night will vary from the upper teens to around 20 across metropolitan locations, to
teens and single digits in more rural locations. During Saturday a milder southwest wind will result in temperatures climbing into the 30s. An approaching cold front will bring more clouds to the region during the day," the NWS concludes.
