Hour-By-Hour Forecast Of Snow And Ice Storm: CT Weather

The National Weather Service's estimations of snow, sleet and freezing rain for the CT storm, broken down by where you live.

Superintendents of schools will have a tough job around 5 a.m. Tuesday. We all know snow is in the forecast for Connecticut as it is expected to begin after most students would arrive at school but will superintendents decide to cancel school, call for an early dismissal or none of the above.

This is not a blockbuster snowstorm but the real concern is the storm's timing. The worst of the snow and ice is expected Tuesday afternoon and roads are expected to deteriorate quickly, especially for the evening commute home from work.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire state except for Litchfield County, which has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.
