Hour-By-Hour Forecast Of Snow And Ice Today, Tonight: CT Weather

Here are the latest details on how much snow and ice to expect and an hour-by-look at when it will begin and end.

Another snow and ice storm is expected to cause problems on the roads in Connecticut today and into the early hours of Thursday. The forecast is pretty similar to Monday's, and as Southern Connecticut residents remember we're still waiting for the snow from that storm that never materialized.

It appears that one to three inches of snow and ice are expected to accumulate statewide and that because of dry air over the state it will take some time for the snow to actually reach the ground. Snow is most likely to impact the evening commute in Southern Connecticut, while residents in Northern Connecticut should expect roads to deteriorate after 7 p.m. tonight. Roads may be slippery for the Thursday morning commute, especially in northern sections of the state.

But on the bright side, temps will reach 50 on Thursday and then another rain storm is expected on Sunday.
