Major Traffic Problems Across Connecticut Thursday: Here's Where, What To Know

Also, the forecast for Easter weekend has taken a turn for the worse. Here are those updates.

Somehow we've managed to go from 70 degrees on Wednesday to feeling like it's in the 30s on Thursday. (See below for traffic delays across the state).

And there isn't great news about the upcoming Easter weekend weather forecast either. Rain showers are forecast on both Saturday and Sunday, and now the rain appears to begin earlier on Sunday too, according to the latest forecast updates from WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.

"Saturday begins bright, then we expect a mix of sun and clouds. During the afternoon, an isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out," WFSB 3 TV meteorologists said. "Otherwise, it will be quite mild with temps inland reaching the 70s while shoreline communities peak in the 60s. "For Sunday, Easter, while not a washout, you’ll want to keep an umbrella handy. As a cold front moves into and through CT, a round of showers appears likely. The timing is a bit sooner, arriving midday. Temperature-wise, it will still be mild but cooler than Saturday with highs in the lower 60s."

As for Thursday, the rain is forecast to end later this morning, but it will only be in the low to mid 40s, and the windchill factor will make it feel like it is only in the 30s.

Friday will be warmer but cloudy, with temperatures in the 60s. Sadly, not a lot of sun in our forecast for the upcoming holiday weekend.
