Town-by-town snow totals have been released across Connecticut. Several towns reported more than a foot of accumulation.

Well over a foot of snow fell in several towns across Connecticut Sunday and while the worst of the storm may be behind us there is still additional accumulation expected and then the arrival of bitterly cold temperatures.
The snow will taper off after midnight, but some sporadic snow could result in another inch or two of accumulation on Monday. Once the snow ends for good on Monday, the story will be the cold as temperatures plunge into the single digits.
Tuesday only moderates into the low to mid 20s and the cold temperatures hang on through next weekend. No additional snow chances are in the upcoming forecast either.

Lamont Issues State Of Emergency
Commercial vehicles — such as trucks, RVs, tractor trailers, tankers, and vehicles with trailers are prohibited from traveling on all limited access highways in Connecticut beginning at noon Sunday and remaining in effect until further notice. Lamont said he will decide when the partial travel ban is lifted.
The order prohibiting commercial vehicle travel does not apply to emergency response and recovery vehicles, including public safety vehicles, utilities vehicles, and vehicles carrying essential personnel or supplies.
