Post University Basketball Player Phillip Urban Killed In NJ: PD
A Post University basketball player was found shot in a New Jersey nature preserve over the weekend, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A Post University basketball player died after he was found shot in a New Jersey nature preserve, police said.
Philip Urban, 20, of Manalapan, New Jersey was found slumped over the driver's seat at the Hopeswell Valley Nature Preserve Saturday around 7 p.m., according to the Mercer County Prosecutor office and Hopeswell police.
Urban was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Preliminary evidence suggests that Urban went to meet an acquaintance at the preserve and was shot during the encounter, according to police. No one has been charged in connection with the incident.
Post University is in mourning over Urban's death and is offering counseling services to the school community, President John Hopkins said in a statement.

"The Post University community is heartbroken to learn of the death of freshman student, Philip Urban last night," Hopkins said. "As a member of the Men’s basketball team and a Business Administration major, Philip modeled the attributes of leadership, commitment and hard work on the court and in the classroom."
