Meteorologists with WTNH are predicting between one and three inches of snow on Sunday, along with wind and highs in the 30s. The station expects the snowfall will begin in the morning and end between noon and 2 p.m. Sunday.

“Winter comes back to start the month of March,” the station reported.

Looking ahead

For the work week, Monday will be chilly, then there is another chance for precipitation on Tuesday, forecasters said.

“It could begin as snow, flipping over to a wintry mix as milder air pushes in,” WFSB reports. “Wednesday, any mix gives way to rain, with partial clearing expected later in the day.”

According to WTNH, Tuesday will “feature snow and mix arriving later in the day.”

The station predicts the snow and mix will arrive late afternoon on Tuesday, and then the precipitation will turn over to rain and end on Wednesday morning.
