Target Getting Ulta Beauty Shops Inside 100 Stores In 2021
Ulta Beauty will be putting shops in Target stores beginning in 2021.

CONNECTICUT — Target Corporation and Ulta Beauty Tuesday announced a "strategic, long-term partnership" to place shops in more than 100 Target stores by the middle of 2021.
The "shop in a shop" concept calls for Ulta to place it's locations near existing beauty sections in Target stores. They will measure about 1,000 square feet.
Exact locations were not outlined in a news release.

"The ease and convenience of our stores and fulfillment services provide broad reach and relevance for the curated brands our guests love,” Target Chairman and CEO Brian Cornell said.
"Ulta Beauty at Target reflects further evolution in our omnichannel strategy, rooted in unlocking the potential of our physical and digital footprints, creating more seamless shopping opportunities for our loyal guests and continuing to lead the beauty industry. More than ever before, now is the time for innovation in retail,” Ulta Beauty CEO Mary Dillon said.

Ulta Beauty at Target will debut at more than 100 Target locations starting in 2021, with plans to scale to "hundreds more" over time, according to the announcement.
Guests who shop Ulta Beauty at Target online will be eligible for free shipping on "qualifying orders," according to the announcement.
Target officials said the partnership is a fitting progression since the chain "reinvented its beauty business."
Minneapolis-based Target Corporation has nearly 1,900 stores. Ulta Beauty is the largest U.S. beauty retailer with more than 25,000 products from approximately 500 "well-established and emerging beauty brands." Ulta Beauty operates retail stores across 50 states and also distributes its products through its website.
