STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut has initiated an investigation into reports of "racist" social media posts made by both incoming and current students and school president Thomas Katsouleas said Monday it could even lead to admissions being revoked.

Katsouleas announced the investigation in an empassioned social media post Monday afternoon.

"We are aware of the social media posts being circulated and are taking each of them very seriously," Katsouleas said on his Twitter account. "UConn is committed to racial justice and respect for all, and is reviewing the posts to assess potential action."
