Woman Killed After Car Strikes Building In CT: Reports

NEW BRITAIN, CT — A woman died after her car struck a building in New London, according to FOX 61.

Police responded to a call reporting a car crashing into a building at 8:15 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Grove Hill and Lake Street, NBC CT reported.

Police found the driver, an older woman, unresponsive in the car. She was taken to an area hospital and later died due to her injuries.

The woman's identity has not been released.

The New Britain Police Department's Traffic Division is investigating.
