From Zero Degrees To A Major Rain Storm In Connecticut
Once again the weather is all over the map this week with chances of snow and heavy rain too in Connecticut.

The low temperature tonight in parts of Connecticut may hit zero degrees but by Wednesday temps may approach 50 degrees and we could be looking at a driving rainstorm. We may even see some snow and sleet Wednesday morning too.
Our next chance for snow looks to come next weekend, but we shall see. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Tuesday for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties as wind chill readings may hit 20 below zero. A Wind Chill Advisory is also in effect for Litchfield County until 7 a.m. as the wind chills may feel as low as 15 to 30 below zero.
For Southern Connecticut, the National Weather Service says in a special weather statement, "As temperatures tonight fall back to below zero well inland and into the single digits most elsewhere, wind chills will remain at least a few degrees colder as brisk northwest winds take some time to diminish. Wind chills will be mostly 5 to 10 below zero, but may reach 15 below in a few inland spots, mainly in the higher elevations. Temperatures and wind chills will both moderate by Tuesday afternoon as the core of the Arctic air mass bringing us this cold begins to slide east. Make sure to bundle up and wear a hat and gloves if heading outdoors tonight into Tuesday morning."
