• Stamford-Based Equity Firm Completes $1.5 Billion Acquisition Of Major Pizza Restaurant Chain (patch.com) — Ansonia's Pizza Hut is among the Connecticut locations now owned by Stamford-based private equity firm LongRange Capital, which just completed a $1.5 billion purchase of the chain. Company leaders say they'll focus on supporting franchisees and investing in operations and digital upgrades, following earlier closures of underperforming U.S. stores.
