AARP Tax Service Offered at Avon Library

The Avon Free Public Library will be offering AARP tax aide service again this year. This FREE service is designed for lower-income people with simple returns but available to all income levels filing a simple return.

Members of the public are encouraged to call the Avon Library at 860-673-9712, ext. 4, for an appointment. Appointments are one hour in length. 24 hour notice is expected if a patron needs to cancel. Tax appointments are available on:

Wednesdays at 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm

Three volunteers are available on 11 dates:

2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, ¾, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15

Saturdays at 10:15am, 11:15 am, 12:15pm, 1:15 pm

Three volunteers are available on 10 dates:

2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21. 3/28, 4/4, 4/11
