Avon Art Association's Monthly Meeting and Artist Demo
Sandra Wakeen will conduct a free demonstration using oil. Workshop to follow.
The Avon Arts Association will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 at 7:00 pm in Avon Town Hall, 60 West Main St. building #1. Artist Sandra Wakeen, a nationally and internationally renowned painter and teacher will demonstrate techniques using oil paints. Her work presently resides in the permanent collection of the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Florence Griswold Museum, and in museums and private collections around the world.
Sandra will present a workshop on Saturday, January 24th from 9:30 am to 2 pm at the same location. The public is invited to both. Workshop fee is $35 for members, $45 for guests.
