This holiday season, Mintz + Hoke is partnering with Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity (HAHFH) to raise awareness and make a difference in the lives of families and communities in the greater Hartford area. In addition to making a donation to HAHFH on behalf of partners and friends, which will go toward building a home for families in Connecticut, the Avon-based integrated marketing communications firm is building a team to build a home.
Agency CEO Chris Knopf notes, “Home is a foundation for life. Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity has been bringing together local volunteers for 25 years who are giving families a chance to build that foundation. Along with the support we hope to receive from our friends and partners, this donation will be put toward building homes so that next year, more people will be home for the holidays.”

A holiday greeting page on the agency’s site encourages visitors to “Tell us what you’ll be building in the new year” and also support HAHFH either by donating, volunteering or visiting its home improvement and donation center, ReStore, in Bloomfield. All ReStore proceeds are used to build homes. Another feature shares the holiday message via social media. A video on landing page created by Mintz + Hoke illustrates HAHFH’s mission and encourages people to “Come together, Build together.”
This spring Mintz + Hoke will also help build a home. “We’re pleased to support such a noble cause and hope people recognize the value in putting a roof over someone’s head, not only during the holiday season, but all year long. We encourage friends and clients to come out and have fun. Just few hours of someone’s time can provide stability within the community for years to come,” added Knopf.
