Avon Day Draws Thousands of Attendees
The event was held Sept. 27 and more than 70 local non-profits, businesses and other organizations participated.

Thousands came out to enjoy festivities with neighbors at the 33rd annual Avon Day on Saturday.
The event, which draws about 5,000 attendees annually took place on a sunny and warm day at Thompson Brook School.
“It’s a down home event,” said Avon Day Chair Nancy Anstey, who has been involved with organizing the event for at least 30 years. “Meet your neighbors, enjoy food and learn about what’s going on in town.”
