Attention Avon Residents:
Be on the lookout this Sunday, September 28th, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. for Avon High School athletes as they canvass your neighborhood for the Avon Booster Club’s Annual Ticket Drive. The drive, in combination with a separate direct-mail campaign, is expected to bring in nearly $20,000.00 ~ money that will immediately fund athletic essentials not covered by the school budget or ‘pay to play’ fees. Game nets and goals; storage units and training gear; scoreboards; coaching seminars; lights for night games; student scholarships ~ these are just a few of the many things Avon athletes and coaches have come to rely on the Booster Club to subsidize in recent years. And, with more students participating in Avon athletics than ever before, the need is even greater this year. We hope we can count on your support.
