Avon Forum To Look Into Investing And The Environment

AVON, CT — The Avon Clean Energy Commission is hosting a special forum next week on "sustainable investing."

The forum will take place on Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. in the community romo of the Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon.

It will feature an expert panel that will discuss items that investors "should consider when looking to invest sustainably and have a positive impact on climate change," according to a town announcement.

The panel will be comprised of financial experts who specialize in financing sustainable initiatives.

Essentially, the forum will go over ways people can use their money for both economic and evironmental success.
