When CT quilter MaryPat Leger saw the Sacramento River Quilt, she envisioned a similar work that would celebrate the Farmington River.  Her inspiration brought together 24 quilt artists to create the The Farmington River Quilt Project.  The quilt portrays 25 locations on the Wild & Scenic section from the Goodwin Dam in Colebrook to the Rainbow City Pool in Canton.  The 50 foot long quilt is comprised of 25 sections, each measuring 24″ by 21″.  Each quilter worked independently using their own creative expression to depict a specific location.

Be sure to stop in and see this amazing quilt in person!  You can learn more about it @ http://www.farmingtonriverquilt.org/

The Gallery is open during our Open Browsing Hours.
