Avon High School Athletes to Canvass Sunday for Annual Ticket Drive

Avon High School athletes will be canvassing the town Sept. 28 to help raise money for athletic gear and fees.

The athletes will be out between noon and 4 p.m. this Sunday for the Avon Booster Club’s Annual Ticket Drive. The goal is to raise about $20,000 between the ticket drive and a direct mail campaign.

Some of the things donations can help cover are: Game nets and goals, storage units, training gear, scoreboards, coaching seminars, lights for night games and student scholarships.
