Avon Library To Host "The Sting And I," A Presentation On Mosquitoes
The presenter, Maureen Heidtman, is a Certified Wildlife Conservationist and licensed wildlife caretaker for the state of Connecticut.

Do all kinds of mosquitoes bite humans? Are some mosquitoes pollinators? Join us for The Sting and I, a presentation by Maureen Heidtmann about these pesky insects and ways to safely control them using natural methods, including predators.
Presenter: Maureen Heidtmann is a Certified Wildlife Conservationist and licensed wildlife caretaker for the state of Connecticut. Her focus is on the conservation of bats, but the health of all wildlife is of major importance to Maureen.
