How can International Organizations, including the United Nations, succeed in the Age of Disruption and Uncharted Events? One solution is for executives and diplomats to leverage high-stakes communication that foster clarity of messaging that resonates with global audiences. The digital age including social media platforms make it more difficult to break through the clutter and help change minds whether in person or on virtual forums.

Dr. Robert J. Petrausch, an expert in communications, board member of the United Nations Association of CT and head of the public relations concentration at Iona College draws on his new book “Leveraging Your High-Stakes Presentation in the Age of Speed” ( Kendall-Hunt, 2020) to introduce the LASER Blueprint methodology as a way to provide compelling messaging for any international organization that must enhance its reputation and share important ideas and novel solutions with critical stakeholders.
