Avon Library Teen Book Talk Tuesday: May Is Mental Health Awareness Month
Participants can pick up a free bag of goodies, mental health resources, and a free book from the library following the virtual program.

The Avon Youth Services and the Avon Free Public Library are partnering on this month’s book talk.

Registration required, open to teens in Grades 7-12.
So this month, Miss Marisa will recommend books about teens and mental health (all different conditions and genres).

Teens can sign up and share about a book you are reading or a good book you have read.
Teens also welcome to listen in to get inspired about what to read next.
How can I win a gift card?
Everyone who signs up and attends the program will get their name entered once to be one of the 3 teen winners of:
A $10 Starbucks gift card, a $10 Starbucks gift card, and a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card.
Teens who sign up and share about a book they are reading or a good book they have read: will get their name entered a second time for the gift card raffle!
How can I get a free bag of goodies, mental health resources, and a free book?
After the program, teens can pick up a bag of goodies containing swag, more information about mental health resources, and pick out a free teen book from the selection at the 2nd Floor Kid’s Desk!
Prior to the program, first time program attendees may receive a call to confirm registration information for safety issues. If we are unable to confirm information, you will not be let in the day of the program.
Registration will CLOSE 1 hour before the program.
