Avon Superintendent Gary Mala, Other Admins to Get Pay Raise Next Year

Avon Superintendent Gary Mala and other administrators will be getting a 2.25 percent pay raise next year as part of a new contract.

The contracts go into effect July 1, 2015. Mala also had his contract extended another year, according to the Hartford Courant.

A separate contract that covers school principals and other administrators will also go into effect. They will receive 2.25 percent pay raises for each of the next three years of that contract.
