Avon Swimming Advances to States

Although Avon High School's spring sports teams are busy with pre-season sprints and conditioning, one team is still in winter mode.  Avon's co-ed swim team is heading to the State Opens this Saturday, March 22nd, at Yale University - and it will be well represented.  Coach Diana Cesaro and the combined team will be on hand to cheer for AHS' three individual swimmers, Class M title-holder Riley Strassner in the 200-meter freestyle;  Billy Holloman in the 100-meter breast stroke; and Kyle Emery in the 100-meter backstroke; and the combined relay team of Billy, Kyle, Matt Bagley and Devon Chambers. Good luck to the Falcon swimmers, and congratulations for finishing strong after facing your share of challenges this season!
