Avon VFW Memorial Day Parade Set For Monday, May 31

Please join us this year for our 76th Anniversary Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 31st starting at 11:00 a.m. We encourage ALL VETERANS to join us and march in the Parade. Cars are available for Veterans needing a ride. There will be a ceremony at the Veterans' Memorial on the Town Green following the parade. The Public is invited to join as well. We expect a great day and hope for a large turnout. Please support us and honor those who gave their lives in the call of duty. We will remember them as well as ALL VETERANS on that day. Public support is very important! Due to COVID we did not have our annual parade last year so we look forward to seeing all of you on Monday, May 31st. Please come out and show your support! In case of rain, we are having a smaller ceremony at the Avon Senior Center at 11:00 a.m. (with limited attendance). Please call Bill Samol at 860-673-0594 with any questions (leave a message).
