Avon Woman's Car Totaled at Wedding Venue, Receives Payment from Owner
An Avon woman's car was totaled at a Waterford wedding venue, for which she was reimbursed by the owner after months of asking.

WATERFORD, CT - An Avon woman said her car was damaged at a Waterford wedding venue, NBC Connecticut reported. Difficulty came, however, after she sought money from the owner for the damages..
Laura Sylvan said she drove across a grassy field at My Little Ladies Farm in Waterford at the owner’s direction, according to NBC Connecticut. As she was looking for a parking spot, she allegedly hit a large rock she did not see among the grass.
Sylvan later learned her car was totaled, as the rock cracked her oil pan and the front axle, NBC Connecticut reported. She then asked the owner to pay the $500 deductible, but did not receive her payment until NBC Connecticut reached out to the owner regarding the incident months later.
