Calling on our community!
A food drive benefiting Gifts of Love in Avon is being held Sunday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Avon High School. Organized by Troop 274 Boy Scout and Avon High School student Ryan Bagley as part of his Eagle project, the food drive will support Gifts of Love’s backpack program, which sends children home with food to last over the weekend before they return to school. Food items in need for the Gifts of Love backpacks include: pasta, peanut butter & jelly, juice boxes, and various snacks. During these current trying times this program is more important than ever. Gifts of Love helps working families throughout the Farmington Valley with essentials like food, household items, clothing, and even home heating help. Your non-perishable food donations are greatly appreciated. Ryan and his team will gladly accept your donations at Avon High School this Sunday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Thank you for your support!
