Medical Report Leads to Dismissal of Sexual Assault Charges Against Avon Doctor
The decision to drop the case was made Thursday.
AVON, CT — The state on Thursday dropped the 14 sexual assault charges against an Avon physician Dr. Khosro Pourkavoos, the Hartford Courant reported.
The state hiring a Yale doctor to review the medical records of nine woman who made accusations two years ago and that led to the dismissal, according to the story.
The charges would not "prosecutable," the report said.
